You decide when to travel, how many days, which destination and what type of room you want. Our Holiday credits program provides you with this unique flexibility.
It’s very simple: each destination, season, kind of room and number of nights has a certain value in Holiday credits. This way, it’s up to you how many credits you want to spend on each vacation.
There are three seasons:
Preferential: which includes the top demand weeks for each destination and may vary from country to country
High season: all year round except Preferential
and Low season: the months of least demand
You decide the number of days: a three-night weekend, four weekday nights, or one of our many other combinations.
You decide the destination: each destination has an assigned value in Holiday credits.
And you decide which type of room is best for you.
Sometimes you’ll travel with a companion, at others with your children, and occasionally with friends. That is why Royal Holiday offers you total flexibility to choose the room you need for your vacation: studio, ambassador, presidential or royal suite.
Holiday credits vary according to the type of room you choose.
The advantage of Holiday credits is that you assign them to your convenience, that’s why you have to become an expert managing them.

There are only four variables to take into account to know the number of credits you’re spending: destination, season, day of the week and type of room.
Important: the more credits you have, the more options and flexibility you can count on. In other words: more places, more fun, better rooms, seasons and vacation opportunities.
Thirty days after purchasing your membership, or, if you do not wish to take a vacation this year, you can start using your Holiday credits next January.
In order to access the Members Only section of our Website, and carry out transactions or check out special promotions, you must log in your Membership Number, or Lead, which appears in your contract, activate your Web Account, and obtain your password. This will guarantee the absolute security of all your on-line dealings with us.
What happens if I cannot travel one year because our baby was born, or I switched jobs, or I bought a house, or because next year we want to go to Europe and we need more Holiday credits?
You are free to save up your total number of Holiday credits for that year, as long as you use them within the following 12 months. We call this ACCUMULATING credits. You can do it one year yes and one year no—that is, every other year.
Credit accumulation is not automatic. To accumulate credits, it is imperative that you contact the club’s service personnel at one of our service centers, or send us an email.
What can I do if I don’t have enough credits for the trip I want to take?
You have several options:
Enlarge your membership by purchasing more vacation credits, which will raise its value and increase your vacation opportunities, so you can get more out of your leisure time for many years to come.
Purchase additional Holiday credits when you make your reservation. These credits are perfect when you want a larger room, or to travel on the preferential season, stay more days, etc. Additional credits are short term, and should only be purchased for a specific vacation; these credits are for immediate use and do not increase the value of your long term membership.
If you refer us to an acquaintance, and this person buys a membership, you will receive a benefit of ten thousand Holiday credits.
Choose a season of lower demand or make your trip shorter. This way, you’ll be making better use of your credits.
If, at the time you purchase your membership, you are over 50 years of age, you can fast-forward your Holiday credits, that is, use them over period of less than thirty years. For instance, if you bought a membership of 30,000 credits, you can fast-forward the use of another 30,000 for a combined worth of 60,000 credits. This way, you can travel during a higher season, or enjoy a larger room, or arrive at a destination of higher demand. In order to fast-forward your Holiday credits, it is necessary to cover the annual club fee for the year you are fast-forwarding, with the added advantage that you will be paying it at the current rate.
What do I do if I want to invite some friends and I need a larger room?
There are several options:
Purchase additional vacation credits when you make the reservation and request a larger suite for that particular vacation.
Accumulate the previous year’s vacation credits.
Enlarge your membership by purchasing more vacation credits to raise its level.
Choose a lower demand season.
Take a shorter vacation in a larger suite.
Have your friends pitch in to purchase additional Holiday credits when you make the reservation.
Take advantage of our Referral Program. Invite your friends to get acquainted with the Royal Holiday concept. That way, if they should purchase a membership, you will receive a number of benefits.

Do I have to pay the club’s annual fee if I don’t take a vacation?
The answer is yes, since the annual fee covers not only hotel bills, but the administrative and operation costs of our developments. That’s why your payment is mandatory. The annual fee must be paid before January 15 of every year or when you make your reservation, whichever comes first.
You can make your payment through our Reserve Online section, at our offices, by mail or at the bank.

How can I start using my Royal Holiday membership?
Some of our customers, once they have made a purchase, wonder if they did the right thing, if it wasn’t a hasty decision and if they are really going to use their membership. This is normal and it happens with any product we buy and haven’t used yet. That’s why we have the New Members Program. The program begins with a call or a welcome letter, where we give you the name of your account executive for these first few months, and the phone numbers you can call in case you have any doubts about any topic related to your membership, such as first reservations, gift certificates, payments, promotions and so forth.
